Sanders County is found in Montana. A census indicated that Sanders County had a total population of 12,400 in 2020. The current county seat is Thompson Falls.
It was formed in 1905.
It was named for Wilbur Fiske Sanders. He was a United States Senator from Montana.

NOTE - In order to obtain records, Sanders County requesters must follow several rules. The office is open between 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday to purchase records in-person in Sanders County. To attain records in Sanders County, photo identification is needed.
