It was formed in 1909.
It was named for President Abraham Lincoln. He was an American statesman and lawyer who served as the 16th president of the United States from 1861 to 1865.

Lincoln County Public Records

NOTE - There are various rules that must be followed in order for Lincoln County requesters to obtain records. The office is only open between 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday. If a requester wishes to obtain reports, they must bring some form of photo identification. This could consist of a driver’s license or state ID. All public record requests must also be put in writing in Lincoln County.
